Our undergraduate majors are not your typical undergrads. Many perform graduate-level research and compete at state and national events. The School of Math & Sciences needs an equally amazing space.
We have received more than $6 million in commitments toward our $7.2 million goal. Achieving this goal will take the School of Math & Sciences to the next level.

Upgrades will include renovations to the current facility, a new chemistry wing and new greenhouse.
Students will be able to further pursue their undergraduate research in state-of-the-art facilities tailored to this activity.
Wayland's athletic programs have brought home several national championships over the last few years.
The Athletic Training Center is a 10,000 square-foot facility with state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment, sprint track, and locker rooms. We've received a little more than $500,000 toward our $2.5 million goal.

Gates Hall was completed in 1911, and was named after Wayland's first president, Dr. Isaac E. Gates.
100 years have taken a toll on this beautiful building. Restorations to the exterior will allow Gates Hall to continue to be a hub for Wayland life.
We've received more than $500,000 in commitments toward our $825,000 goal.
Through the Years
Gates Hall origninally served as a combination of classrooms, dining hall, administration and dormitory for the 208 students originally enrolled in this newly founded college.
Through the years, all Wayland students --traditional, non-traditional, concurrent and external students -- have benefitted from the work that goes on in these hallowed halls of education.
Gates Hall serves as a symbol for our university's mission, a reminder of our tenacity and a vision for our future.
Dr. Bobby Hall
What began as the vision of a pioneer doctor and his wife to provide a quality Christian education to their family and their community, grew into one of the largest Baptist institutions in the nation. As we look back over the past 109 years, we are humbled to see how God has used this great institution to serve more than 53,000 students. We believe this endeavor to renovate Gates Hall will honor those great pioneers who sought to bring Christian education to the high plains.
Wayland has a strong history of supporting students through scholarships.
Impact 2020 seeks to raise an additional $5.5 million in scholarships for current and future students.
Changing Students' Lives
Your giving makes a huge impact on Wayland students. In 2018-19, your 362 endowed scholarships helped over 500 students get $800,000 closer to graduation.
I want to be a missionary when I graduate. The scholarships I received are helping me get that much closer to my dream. Without the support of donors I wouldn't be able to go to college, much less study something I am passionate about.
